How do I submit a service request?

To submit a service request you can contact our service team at service@detectiontek.com or call our office at (720) 440-6222 to schedule an appointment.

How much does annual servicing cost?

Annual servicing for a V4 in 2026 starts at $1500 without shipping.

How often does the instrument need to be serviced?

The InstaScope needs to be calibrated and serviced at least once per year for standard use customers. We'll work with you to schedule a time for your InstaScope to come in, and our team typically needs about 5 working days to complete the annual servicing.

What does annual service and calibration entail?

Our service and calibration includes: visual inspection of the instrument, both interior and exterior, for any defects or deficiencies, inspection of the wand and purge filters for damage and functionality, installing any upgrades or updates needed, verification of system functionality (airflow/timing, sizing, fluorescence, environmental sensors), adjustments to sizing, fluorescence, and environmental calibrations, followed by validation testing of the instrument.

What is the warranty on the InstaScope?

The warranty is 90 days from the day you receive your instrument.
